Import prices into the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia decreased during the week ended Tuesday April 26 for most flat steel products, but buying activity was very poor because of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, market sources have told Fastmarkets.
Working hours are reduced in most Muslim countries during Ramadan, which will end next week, to be followed by the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
