SHANGHAI, Oct 19 - In the spot market, on October 19, the premiums of Jinchuan nickel were quoted at 10,000-10,500 yuan/mt, with an average price of 10,250 yuan/mt, down flat from the previous trading day. NORNICKEL nickel premiums were quoted at 5,000 yuan/mt, up 200 yuan/mt from the previous trading day yuan/mt. Recently, the spot supply of pure nickel was scarce again, and the premiums of NORNICKEL rebounded. The supply may increase after the goods of SHFE 2210 contract are released.

In terms of nickel briquette, the price of nickel briquette was 186,600-187,500 yuan/mt, up 4,900 yuan from yesterday. Due to the high nickel briquette prices, the economy effectiveness of nickel briquette weakened and the transactions of nickel briquette were poor.
